Back on the road!
We're back on tour in Serbia and the USA this Fall. We're playing the Belgrade Jazz Festival in the last weekend
of October, coinciding with performances in towns we've never been to -- Indija and Sabac. In Belgrade, we're going to be bringing back
our short doc film soundtrack, - from the British 1936 movie "Night Mail" - for its European debut.
And then we're heading northwards to Cambridge, MA! Then over to SUNY Oneonta, Burlington, VT, and LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. Thanks to everyone who made our Zebulon show last month and to Pitom and itsnotyouitsme for playing it. See you out on the road soon --

We are incredibly proud of this new disc.
After writing a long set of new material after Adam's entry to the band, we made a pilgrammage to Minneapolis last March. We stayed there for a week, focusing only on recording at a beautiful recording studio, The Terrarium. We spent days and days getting a new sound for the band in the studio --overdubbing new instruments, expanding arrangements, and working as we never have before in the studio.
We came back to NYC to bring our fresh tracks to Studio G in Brooklyn to work with the legendary Joel Hamilton to mix the disc. Again, through days of discussion, tweaking and hard work, we came through with something we're really happy with. We can't wait for you to hear it!
The disc doesn't come out officially until January 20, but you can buy it EXCLUSIVELY HERE!. Thanks to everyone who came out to shows across the South and see you again soon!

Back from tour with a DVD in our pockets!
Thanks to everyone for one of our best European tours yet - 17 shows in 18 days, across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and an unforgettable evening in Belgium. We feel like we have a family over there and can't wait to see you all again in the Fall.
Meantime, speaking of family, we've played more at the MS Stubnitz art/ship than we have most clubs in NYC. They've audio and video recorded every one of our shows, and have put together a beautiful live concert DVD - the first release on their label. It's on sale on our website today; don't miss it!!
See you NYC people at Zebulon this Friday March 14 at 11pm! |
